Community Support
Building Rochester – On the Jobsite and in the Community
The Construction Industry Association of Rochester is committed to strengthening the Greater Rochester region by doing what we do best—building. From bricks and mortar that shape our skyline to the infrastructure that supports daily life, our members play a vital role in creating safe, vibrant, and sustainable communities. Every project represents more than a structure; it’s an investment in the region’s economic vitality, quality of life, and long-term growth.
Beyond the jobsite, CIAR is equally dedicated to supporting the nonprofit organizations and people who make our community stronger. Through financial contributions, hands-on volunteerism, and strategic partnerships, we help address critical local needs while fostering meaningful connections between the construction industry and the community it serves. At the same time, we are focused on building the future workforce—introducing young people to careers in construction, supporting training and education, and creating pathways to rewarding, family-sustaining jobs. Together, these efforts ensure that Rochester continues to grow with purpose, opportunity, and pride.
